Yes. A valid Hawaii instruction permit is required to begin behind-the-wheel lessons. You may start the classroom portion of driver’s ed while waiting for your road test eligibility.
You must be at least 15½ years old to apply for an instruction permit and begin a state-certified driver education course.

Most students complete the program in 4–6 weeks, depending on instructor availability. All sessions must be completed within 3 months of the course start date.
After class begins, you'll be contacted via email to schedule your sessions. Lessons are arranged based on availability and student location.
Behind-the-wheel lessons usually begin 3 weeks after the start of the classroom course.
Contact us as soon as possible. Make-ups may be available depending on instructor schedules, but repeated absences may result in dismissal without refund. Students must attend all classes. In order to receive a completion certificate, No classes can be missed. If a student, must miss a class due to sickness or emergency, the student will have an opportunity to make up the class during the following session if space is available and will be based on a case-by-case basis.
No. For safety, only students and certified instructors are permitted in the vehicle during instruction.
No. We provide fully insured training vehicles for all driving lessons that are equipped with dual braking system to increase the level of confidence and learning curve.
Not at this time. Students meet instructors at a designated location in the Waipahu / Pearl City area.
